Yes, it’s 100% normal to feel that soreness. You will see results anyways as long as you continue to workout regularly. Don’t worry if this’ll lessen your results. Remember that your fitness journey is like a life-long marathon and not a sprint. Definitely rest in between videos if you need to. However, I pushed myself to continue working out on the scheduled days and I would say that the soreness went away after Day 4/5? I also recommend doing a cool down on the days where you’re feeling sore to help w recovery.ġ. I could BARELY walk/move after that first workout and literally everything hurt. And if you need to, take a few rest days before going back. First do a video then add one more the stronger you get. If you feel finishing more than one video in one day is too much for you then take it slowly. If the workouts are difficult, do the low impact ones they will help you get stronger.Īnd it’s completely ok to take a break between videos, I usually take about 3-5 min break, sometimes longer before moving to the next video and still get good results. Make sure to do warm ups and cool downs before and after each session it helps with the soreness. They weren’t easy and it took me time to adjust to them, a while a go I took 2 weeks break before starting her most recent program and two days into it I was so sore I could barely sit or get up (walking was fine but sitting or getting up hurt) but it got better after about 3 days. I started Chloe’s programs about 4 months ago and completed 5 of them. And take as many breaks as you need, it’s totally ok! I send you lots of hugs.ĭon’t be too hard on yourself, give yourself some time to adjust, take the exercises you feel are too difficult slowly until you get stronger. I mean, you decided to workout and now you are doing it, you should be proud. You can do it, again you are doing amazing, don't get discouraged. And I get it, you are tired by the end, but believe me, it is worh it. One advice that I can give you is that you must do her warm ups and cool downs always, if I do them I'm not sore the next day, but if I don't.ugh no. ![]() ![]() And i't ok, I'm stronger and fitter and honestly, happier. I know there are lots of people here that say that by day 14 they don't take breaks anymore, but that's not my case and I've been doing her workouts for months. You can't go from 0 to 100, because you can get hurt and that's obviously not good. Also, if this is your first program and you didn't workout, your body has to get used to it. As she says, it's all about coming back to do it, the key is to be consistent. You won't lose your progress if you skip a day or two or three. I mean, maybe it's normal but I don't think you have to push yourself in that way. ![]() And no in my opinion it's not normal that you are so sore that you had to take a painkiller. Your body has to rest in order to build muscle. If you feel that you need to take another rest day, take it. That program is the most difficult in my opinion, but I also think it's a great kickstarter. Is it because you want to create a habit? You want to feel better? If that's the case, you have to go for the long run. Is it because you want quick results? Maybe you'll have them, maybe not, we are all different. To some people, following strictly a program gives them satisfaction, however you have to consider why you are doing this. What I'm trying to say is be patient and kinder to yourself. And I felt good, I'm doing it and maybe I will finish it this time. Actually I'm doing the 2020 2 week shred again, today was my 1st day and it took me less time (however I still have to take breaks). I'm honestly impressed with me for sticking with it and keep doing it regularly, because I usually quit this kind of things. I don't have back rolls anymore, my arms are slimmer and I'm over all more toned. I do some of the exercises in low impact mode.and let me tell you, even with all that I STILL SEE RESULTS. I haven't followed any of her programs strictly, I take more rest days if that day I'm not feeling it. ![]() I didn't finish the program tho, I couldn't do the last day because it was a mental toll haha.the schedule says it takes 60 min so I thought: will I be suffering for 3 hours or what?! Xp I'm not making this up, the first day took me almost 2 hours because I felt I was dying. I started doing Chloe's workouts last September and I did it with that program. Hey, don't be sad, you are doing amazing.
